Effective immediately, Music Scene Media will integrate into the V13 Media platform, enhancing the existing rich tapestry of music news, interviews, photography, and reviews with its unique and vibrant content.
Music Scene Media, under the vibrant leadership of founder Melanie Mae Williamson (nee Bryan), has rapidly made its mark since its inception. With an impressive monthly reach and a passionate team of photographers and journalists spread across the United States and expanding internationally, Music Scene Media has showcased an array of genres with a focus on rock and metal, earning a place alongside industry tastemakers.
Melanie Mae Williamson, a concert photographer and music publicist by trade and now the Managing Editor, USA for V13 Media, brings her extensive experience and multi-passionate creativity to the V13 family. Her journey into concert photography began in 2019, and her dedication to the arts has only grown since, aligning perfectly with V13 Ventures’ mission to foster creative excellence.

In addition to acquiring Music Scene Magazine, V13 Ventures is pleased to announce key shifts within its editorial team. Melanie Mae Williamson will assume the role of Managing Editor, USA for V13 Media, taking over from Nathan Katsiaficas, who will be stepping into a new leadership position. Melanie’s dynamic vision and deep-rooted passion for music and photography make her the perfect fit to drive content forward in the United States.
Nathan Katsiaficas, who has expertly managed the company’s US Team, partnerships, live coverage scheduling and coordination, and photo editing, will transition into a role that further harnesses his strengths in operational management and strategic planning: Operations Manager, USA.
With the acquisition of Music Scene Magazine, V13 Ventures is not just expanding its editorial team but also significantly enhancing its overall capacity and reach. This integration brings aboard more than 20 dedicated contributors whose diverse voices and unique perspectives will enrich content across all platforms.
The acquisition also introduces new digital platforms to the V13 family. V13 Ventures is particularly thrilled about the new TikTok channel and Discord community, which will serve as dynamic spaces for real-time engagement and interaction with their audience. These platforms will allow V13 Ventures to tap into the pulse of their community, fostering a more connected and interactive experience.
